Hmm it hasn’t been that long since I last posted something huh? Lol well I’m posting again because I think I have enough to make this worthy… so anyway:

First Chemistry. I told you all about my Chemistry teacher, right? The guy who tells you to do one thing but then tests you on something completely different, yeah. GAH, it had gotten to the point where my Chemistry class was depressing me. I didn’t understand anything that was coming out of that man’s mouth. I was also getting upset because if I did badly in his class it might drop me from the Honors Transfer Program (because my GPA wouldn’t be a 3.0 or higher). ALSO, the man wasn’t teaching me anything. I read from the book, understood most of the concepts yet still he tests on something different. A good example of this is our last test. He told us to read the book, I did and I even taught myself how to do the limiting reactant/ theoretical yield thing. Guess what? Wasn’t on the test. Whatever he tested us on was so far gone beyond that I just stared at my test for like…10 minutes. You’ll probably notice my use of past tense and if you thinkabout it…what could that mean? Easy, I dropped the class. Why should I take a teacher who doesn’t teach very well? Why should I let a teacher like that shape my future where I need a VERY good basis in Chem? I shouldn’t so I dropped. My stress levels after dropping have seriously gone down. So yesh I am somewhat happy again (family factor is still in play though…

Next I would like to say happy Easter. No I am not crazy. Yes Easter is today if your family is Greek orthodox. This is how that story played out. On Easter day my sister and I were waiting for our Easter baskets, or just SOMETHING. It never came and so we figured it had to do with my mom saving money for our vacation this summer (I’ll fill you all in on that as that happens). We didn’t ask anything until like two weeks later when we asked my mom “Where are our Easter basketz????” Her answer was simple and very surprising: “We celebrate Greek Orthodox Easter” My sister’s and I expressions: “O__________o;;;;;; Wha????!” So yeah…for the past 18 years of my life, we’ve been doing it the Greek way. What’s the difference between the two? Dates. My mother believes Jesus came back after Passover and that it will always be like that. Because normal Easter fell in March, it split the Green Easter and Normal Easter apart…so yeah <_<;;;;;

Onto Earth day! What did you all do that day? (I know this is like a week late...but it’s better than nothing..) I basically worked at the Sea Lab from 9am to 4pm. Long shift for me @_@. It was pretty laid back and fun. First in the morning I helped set up all the booths for different organizations that came by. Essentially we just wrapped the tables in paper. Why we did in that in the first place is beyond me…(save paper, save the trees kind of thing). At 10 I went to my assigned booth to help them out for 2 hours. My booth was the AGS one. AGS is the power company across the street. So what I did for 2 hours was show and help little kids make a circuit. It was actually pretty fun despite my dislike for little kids. Lol the basic set up was a light bulb thing, a battery and a switch to complete the connection. I showed them how to make it then set them loose. To see them freak out when the light went on was seriously priceless. After they made their bulb shine, I gave them a hacky sack that looks like an earth for them to play with. Well after 2 hours I was relieved from duty to wonder around. In that time I was given an award saying thank you and it listed the amount of hours I had been there since 2006 (which was…151 I think). After that small ceremony I went to the back to help with the fish tanks. All we had to do was stand back there and talk about the animals…over…and over again @_@. It wasn’t so bad because I got tanks that were easy. But it was still kind of boring because I couldn’t leave my post. The only thing that happened during that was that this little kid picked up an Armored Sea Star by the leg. They are very delicate creates…but anyway this kid tried to take it out of the water and the way he did it almost make it’s leg break off x_x;;;; But yeah, that’s all that really happened during Earthday at the Sea Lab.

One more thing. I apologize for not really having the whole Sea Lab stories thing anymore. Nothing bad or interesting has been going on that’s note worthy…but when something does, I shall talk about it honest!!

Moving on to the Ren fair. This took place the week before Earthday and it was fun about half way through. Before we went though, the night before I was getting everything ready for it. I had a really good costume this year. The most interesting part about it though were the pants. I had a white, ULTRA bright white pair of karate pants no one was using. I needed them to get dirty so….my friend and I did that. I went to her house and we thrashed them. Ran them through the grass, smeared dirt on them, threw black and green paint on them, the works. Later when I was at the fair I shredded them with a knife which gave me extra ventilation cause it was 92 there… ^.^ When we first got there though a puritan saw me…and called me a cat. TAKODA IS NOT A CAT. I am a wolf and German Shepherd (not a hybrid, two separate things) GAH…a cat.. ;_; After that the guy said that a man is supposed to carry a lady’s baggage…and well I was in a group of 6 girls ;_; (I was the only guy able to go this year). After all that happened I lost my sword… remember that sword I have pics of? Yeah...that one… L I think I lost it while I was running around with my friends. It snapped off my belt…so yeah :/ *sad* I went back and looked for it, went to the lost and found...nothing. Oh well...I tried.

There is a side thing that story though with my mother. When I got home, I told my dad that I had lost my sword. I told him I looked for it but other wise there was nothing I could have done to get it back. He was cool about it and agreed. I told my older sister and younger sister, I got the same reactions. Now…as for my mom. She blew up at me. Literally yelling and getting mad. I was like “How is getting mad about it now going to bring it back?” She ignored me and continued on saying how I would have taken it if she had told me not too (which is a lie) and all this other stuff…so yeah. I’m not telling my mom anything anymore for the fact that I don’t like getting yelled at. There was something else that happened a few days ago with her…but I don’t feel like getting into that.
